If you would like to conduct scientific research (i.e., collect plant or animal data for research purposes) on a SCDNR Cultural Heritage Preserve or would like to request special use of a SCDNR Cultural Heritage Preserve, please submit this Special Use Request form to SCDNR Senior Heritage Trust property manager Brian Long (LongB@dnr.sc.gov) for review and approval prior to use.
Professional archaeologists and other cultural resources professionals who conduct research on SCDNR properties and collections must meet or exceed the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for archaeology and historic preservation.
Please submit this Special Use Request form along with a research proposal to SCDNR Senior Heritage Trust archaeologist Sean Taylor (TaylorS@dnr.sc.gov) for review and approval prior to conducting research.
